This was a cosplay for tekkoshocon 2007. It was supposed to be Sei Sakuraoka of Gantz. All in, it took almost 200 hours to make. (sewing maching died so I had to sew by hand, also engineering this was crazy!) With all the characters the series goes through, I could be anyone. What do you think?
update: I never thought a pic of my suit would be so popular! A big thanks to everyone for thier nice comments. It only encourages me to do more.  Also, Big giant squishy hugs to Gesetz for a sketch of yours truley ( I am super honoured, you have no idea) and Gantzcraziness for her swiggin Gantz art. (escp that one of Sei and the red one. I want one.
I bought two of those Spandex suits to start with. I also used juice bottles, foam, furniture coasters, glue and electric tape. I have seen some guys do it as they just paint their torsos with a paint of some kind and spirit gum the button thingys on. Try looking them up on cosplay.com.

I want to do my own suit too, but I have problems to get enough stuff together(like good looking fabrics and these round things(I call them "livesavers")).
